Magaly Vega was born in Mexico City in 1986. She studied in New York, where she currently lives. In Tribu de Trueno, I work in a series of oil paintings, on acrylic boxes intervened with LED lights. Inspired by the landscapes that recall her childhood, she invited us to question the concept of memory, and the distance that exists between the life we lead and those we have left behind. At the closing of his residence, she showed her work under the title “The Revolution of Forgetfulness”.
